Help meet a need, right now.
We welcome individual in-kind donations. Help meet the immediate needs of people with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions with the following donations of material goods.
Homeless Youth Sock Drive
Our Prevention and Education department distributes clean socks along with safe sex materials to Seattle's homeless youth population. When youth receive the socks, they are much more open to receiving HIV prevention messages. Check out our Amazon Wish List.
Chicken Soup Brigade, our food program, distributes hundreds of meals and grocery bags a month to those in need. We receive generous donations from large grocery stores like PCC and Whole Foods Market, but are always in need of additional food items to serve our clients. We need the following packaged/non-perishable food items.
- canned tuna, fruits, vegetables, sauce, and beans
- canned or packaged meals (soup, stew, etc.)
- peanut butter
- macaroni and cheese
- dry pasta
- jars of spaghetti sauce
- store gift cards
At this time, we are not in a position to take individual donations of fresh food. We do, however, accept large donations of fresh food items from grocery stores and other food retailers. To arrange a delivery, contact us at (206) 957-1600.Clothing and Housewares
When you are cleaning out your closet or planning a big move, consider donating your clothing or household goods to our thrift store. Located in Capitol Hill, the Lifelong Thrift Store
is always accepting donations of gently worn clothing, shoes, furniture and household items. We thank you for helping to meet the emergency needs of our clients. If you have questions about a donation, contact us at (206) 957-1600 or send us a message.
